Our Wedding

We did it! On October 23rd at about 3:00pm,
Robert and Elizabeth were married. It was a beautiful ceremony.
Our Pastor, Mike Nevling, really did a fantastic job. He is a
great friend of ours and it meant a lot to us to have him there
to perform the ceremony. I (Robert) was holding it all together
pretty well during the ceremony and then at the end Mike really
got into it with announcing us as Husband and Wife. His
enthusiasm was so strong, it made it quite emotional.
I'm also happy to report that the Redd and Shubra families all
had a wonderful time and everyone really seemed to get along and
enjoy getting to know one another. This was the first time our
families had actually met!
We want to personally thank everyone for coming and also extend
our thanks to all of you who couldn't physically make it for one
reason or another. We appreciate everyone's support and prayers
and especially the effort that it took everyone to make the trip
to Raleigh. Hey, at least the weather was nice!
We also wanted to thank everyone who helped us make this day
special and in particular we like to thank God for his presence
in our lives and our marriage.
Watch this site closely in the next couple of weeks as we start
adding pictures and other things to this part of the site.
We'll have video from our videographer (I'm hoping I can take
some clips off of the DVD and post them here). Plus, we're
getting a lot of the professional pictures in digital form also
so that I can put them on the
Kodak Ofoto
website and anyone can order any prints they want that way.

Update - Well, it's now April 2006. We
can't believe we've been married for a year and a half already!
We've moved into our first home in July 2005. We love it!!
