Garden Bangle Kit by Lea Zinke

I purchased this kit from a bead show a while ago and haven't gotten the courage to try it yet. It is bead crochet and I've heard it's really hard. I love the look and the colors are beautiful.

Update - my beady friend Judi is trying to teach me how to bead crochet.  She is really good at it, but I have yet to tackle this kit. 

I purchased large plastic pony beads from Michaels and strung them on yarn.  Using a large plastic crochet hook, I've now got the hang of bead crochet, but when I try with the smaller beads, it all goes out the window.

I'll keep trying because I love the look of bead crochet and it travels well since you load all the beads up on the thread before you begin.
